Follow these instructions when assembling a DIY solar screen kit. Feel like enjoying your weekend and do not want to build the solar screens yourself. Do not worry, you can also order solar screens already built from our factory.

Installing Your Solar Screens

Your Do-it-yourself Solar Screen Kit should come with 8-12 mounting clips (swivel clips). You should use 2 1/2" #8 Wood screws with a hex or phillips head screw or #8 3" Drywall TEK screws with a Phillips head (screws are not included with the kit). Providing the screen was measured properly for your window, it should overlap all sides about 1/2". For medium size windows, 8 swivel clips should be enough for hanging your screen. Placement should be near the corners of the screen as shown in the above illustration and spaced more towards the center on larger screens.
